First time to try their strawberry shortcake but definitely not my first time to dine here at mary grace. My default order here would always be their mango bene and carbonara but I'm glad that I get to try their strawberry cake because it's so gooood. It's so fluffy and you could tell that the strawberries they used are fresh. Also ordered their sangria which doesn't compliment much with the cake, tho. They don't have hot drinks at that time so I opt for their juices. Still, individually the sangria and the cake tasted fantastic. You'll also get inspired by the notes written on their tables. Overall, Mary Grace is one of the restos that we'll always go back to.

It was a mother’s day. We came around past 9pm, the tables were <50% occupied. It was my first time to be here in Mary Grace Robinsons Faura. I gave this branch a 4/5. The 1 point missing goes to their customer service. [FOOD & SERVICE] My mom had Mary Grace Mushroom Cream (no prosciutto) (513php). It was a solid 4.5/5. The sauce was savory enhanced by the chunks of mushroom plus the pasta was served al dente. Maybe we have a small appetite but, for us, we think the serving was great (1.5-1.75x the normal pasta servings). It lacked the saltiness, smoked-ness, nutty-ness that the prosciutto offers which might have brightened the dish more. Though, looking back at the menu after the food was served, it was written already pala on the Menu that you have to add 150Php for the prosciutto, it was our mistake that we didnt double checked the menu, however, I think our attendant could informed us more about their dish. I ordered Grilled Chicken with Tomato Concasse. It was 3.5/5. The couscous/ truffle rice was missing. It was on their menu that the chicken is under an orange couscous, so I was expecting that I’ll be served with the one I just saw. Both salads were great, the grilled chicken was flavorful tender and soft (shouldnt this be smoked?)—with the tomato concasse as a dip was delicious. The asparagus was surprisingly thin and was not crunchy. I was served with 2 side salads with a grilled chicken. How disappointing. When we ordered, we wrote down our order on a small piece of paper, I asked the attendant if I can have 2 side salads (Caesar and Summer salad). After 20 minutes, I was served without the truffle rice/ couscous (which were the part of the premium of the meal). Instead, I received 2 side salads and a grilled chicken. In my head, I was expecting for 2 side salads (as written on the Menu and on the checklist) with a couscous underneath the grilled chicken. When I called back our attendant for clarification. He said that he already asked me earlier about my 2 side salads. Okay? I was thinking maybe read back our order before taking off? [TO SELF] I’m giving myself 2/5 for poor reading comprehension skills. Apparently, being hungry for dinner doesn’t go well with reading menus.

I always love Mary Grace. They have the best apple pie! Other cakes are also good.

I loved the food. The salad was fresh, the pasta isn't dry and the coffee is strong, just how I like it. Needless to say, the cake was superb, as usual.
